The purpose of this tryout form is to obtain information regarding your potential participation as a full-contact, tackle football player for the New York Wolves, a member team in the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA).

I understand that if I am selected as a player for the 2025 season, I must be available to attend training camp and play games as scheduled from January through July 2025.

If you are a successful candidate following the tryout, you may be invited to one or more mini-camps (held in January and February) that will test your football skills, agility, and stamina. Mini Camp will also involve full contact sessions with helmets and pads. You will be informed by the coaching staff if you have made the team or if you have not. We will inform you in either case.

I understand that if I am offered the opportunity to participate as a player for the Wolves, I agree to comply with the rules, regulations, and requirements of both the NY Wolves organization and the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA).

I further understand that there are significant risks involved in playing the full-contact sport of tackle football. I acknowledge and accept the risk that I may sustain one or more serious injuries during the tryout and the mini-camps. In this regard, I have no knowledge that I am pregnant or suffer from any injury or disability that would preclude me from active participation in the tryouts or the mini-camps covered by this agreement.

It is further understood that I am solely and fully responsible for the costs of any medical or other expense that may be incurred as a result of any injury occurring during the tryouts or mini-camp. I hereby agree to waive, release and hold the NY Wolves, the WFA, NY Wolves ownership, management and staff harmless against any claim for damages that I may incur as a result of any injury occurring during the tryouts or minicamp.

It is further understood that I must execute this agreement and pay the required Tryout Fee prior to participating in any tryout. The tryout fee is $25 and must be paid in advance of the tryout on August 10th, 2024.
